January 8th, 2025: New Year, Same Jo
Okay back to site work after a couple months off because I have trouble with consistency at the moment (my entire life.) I did mostly finish up the commissions pages last time I worked on this so that's awesome. Buuuut I'm struggling with how to show my art off effectively in a gallery on here. With the use of AI literally everywhere, I don't really have a place I feel fully comfortable posting my art anymore. I know folks can just kinda... grab whatever images they want anyways because it's the internet ofc but I'd like to try and make it not as easy for them. I'll figure it out. Just like everything else...
Oh my god I could just start roleplaying at you rn. *looks at you* But that would be silly *I chuckle wryly and turn to look out the window* If only... But you would never want to roleplay with me... *starts sobbing and runs away*
Pfft. Goofy. Enough of that. Anyways this is probably the post I'm going to have the site go up with while I work on it more. You know the usual: If I don't say anything again for months, I'm probably still working on it and am back to poor personal work ethic :D And if anyone has a problem with it- well. I dunno? October 5th, 2025: Hello! And other things.
Hello! I'm not really sure what the aim of writing these is. Is it for site updates? Info about projects? Commission openings or release dates for whatever I make? Just to post my inane ramblings? Well "yes" to the last one but overall, I dunno. The most likely answer is "all of the above" and more. I figure I can say my silly stuff to people as well as give the occasional update regarding the site, my channel, and other projects. That's the benefit of having a website honestly! Being able to direct folks to information they need from me with ease. And they don't even really get to complain about my goofery because this is basically MY house. Are you gonna come into my house and be rude to me here?? Potentially, but I always ask that you refrain :) Like... it's my house, dude.
Anyway! As far as proper information goes, I think the only actual upcoming update is to my commissions page. If you're aware of my job status, you know that it doesn't exist at the moment. Very unfortunate but I know I'm not the only jobless person out here. So! I'm lowering comm prices because I typically only raise them when I'm working a job or otherwise don't have the time to always complete comms for folks. Sort of as a "hey I want your art enough to pay a bit more for the time you *really* don't have much of." thing for it. But seeing as I'm out a job and do actually have the time to work on them: I'm going to adjust prices down a bit. Not sure when I'm doing that or if this post is even going to be live before that point. (I'm posting this before I even do the full site update...)
Whatever! You'll know I'm updating them if i make a proper post for it. Otherwise I already did it before the site went up lmao
